I love coaching and mentoring people to move forward and be at their best. It all starts with an informal and open conversation about how I can best support you.
My purpose is supporting people to achieve their full potential. I specialise in being an ally to those in leadership positions, offering peer support and a non-judgemental space; I am an experienced, empathic, solutions-focused collaborator.
As well as running my own successful company for the last 7 years (which includes running a small charity part-time), I set up and developed many charities, some to £1m+ turnover. I have personally fundraised £5m for business start-ups and charities. I work with a range of stakeholders across commercial, local, and national government, and voluntary sectors, especially in times of crisis, transformation, or start-up. I have recruited full executive teams, entire boards and individual board members.
My ability to help others to catalyse their careers has earned me the affectionate title “Fairy JobMother”. Whether you are in start-up mode with bags of momentum but very little infrastructure, or you are fighting just to survive but instead you want to thrive, I can help. I’ve been there and I know what it’s like; I’ve learned how to get back on track and I want to help you to do the same.

Coaching is a useful way of developing people's skills and abilities, and of boosting performance. coaching session will typically take place as a conversation between the coach and the coachee (person being coached), and it focuses on helping the coachee discover answers for themselves. Most formal, professional coaching is carried out by qualified people who work with clients to improve their effectiveness and performance; helping them achieve their full potential.

Mentoring is a learning relationship, involving the sharing of skills, knowledge, and expertise between a mentor and mentee through developmental conversations. This could be methods of fundraising, self-employment, how to start and run a business and more. I offer “pure” coaching as well as a blend of coaching and mentoring, depending on what the client wants.

Initially we would have a free discovery call which could last anything between 20 minutes and an hour, depending on the person. In this we would look at what you want to achieve, what the barriers are and what working together might look like. Most coaching journeys last around 6 sessions, but if you require more or less time, we can adjust as we go. My coaching style is flexible and can also cover additional support as required, including between sessions

DiSC is an acronym that stands for the four main personality profiles described in the DiSC model: (D)ominance, (i)nfluence, (S)teadiness and (C)onscientiousness.
People with D personalities tend to be confident and place an emphasis on accomplishing bottom-line results.
People with i personalities tend to be more open and place an emphasis on relationships and influencing or persuading others.
People with S personalities tend to be dependable and place an emphasis on cooperation and sincerity.
People with C personalities tend to place an emphasis on quality, accuracy, expertise, and competency.

CORNERSTONE PRINCIPLES OF THE DISC MODEL
● All DiSC styles and priorities are equally valuable, and everyone is a blend of all styles
● DiSC is not about labeling people or putting them in boxes. Actually it’s the opposite – to get them out of their box and increase their behavioral amplitude
● Your DiSC style is mostly inborn but is also influenced by other factors such as life experiences, education and maturity
● Understanding yourself better is the first step to becoming more effective when working with others
● Learning about other people’s DiSC styles can help you understand their priorities and how they may differ from your own
● You can improve the quality of your life by using DiSC to build more effective relationships in your workplace, with your clients, and in your personal life
There is no perfect DiSC style. Each person has a unique behavioural profile and we believe that these differences are extremely valuable. Once you assess these differences and harness the value, you’ll have better workplace communication AND a healthier organization.

A “Power Hour” is a one-off dedicated call, which is actually scheduled for 75 minutes. This means that we get to pre brief on the call to set the context, we have a few minutes at the end to wrap up and review. This is because I want to ensure you get at least a full hour for us to achieve the most impact and progress possible. This is particularly suited to someone who has a plan but wants clarity on a timeline and prioritising tasks, or someone who has a problem to figure out.
